CARPET WHIPPING

With whipping carpet, also called overlocking, a high-quality woollen or synthetic edge is machine stitched to the carpet to create a hard wearing and attractive solution to fraying edges.

We have an extensive range of coloured yarns to hand, allowing us to tailor a match to customers requirements.

TAPE BINDING

With tape binding, a cloth tape is folded around the carpet edge & then sewn onto the carpet to achieve an attractive, wide bordered finish.

This protects the edges from fraying or unravelling, and provides an attractive, durable and high class alternative to carpet ‘whipping’.
